4-13-12: Good-Bye

Sitting in the park, all alone, it is time to say good-bye. Good-bye to the worries of the day. Good-bye to other’s expectations. Good-bye to the laundry, un-made bed, dirty kitchen and even the lawn in need of work. Time to let the cool breeze blow all of that away. Good-bye to the bills; good-bye to the gas gauge. Time to enjoy the sounds of the bugs and the distant woodpecker. The sights of old, flourishing green trees, wild flowers, hillsides and puffy clouds.
Good-bye to cares of this world. Time to sit and just “be”; enjoying the stillness with God.
